if it weren't for our neighbor

I wouldn't have this memory documented.

We had just gotten home from church and I quickly shuffled Art and my little chicks out the door before the church clothes came off.  My intent was to take photos of just the girls but Art looked so handsome he had to be in the mix.  That's when our helpful neighbor pulled up his driveway, rolled down his window and offered to take a family picture of us.  We accepted (thanks John)!  I love this picture.  I think it's good of everyone and I very rarely ever think that (mostly about myself).  We weren't prepped to have a family picture taken, there was no fuss getting us there.  It was calm, simple and in the moment.  Maybe that's the key to taking great family photos?  Hmmmm....  I will have to remember this come Christmas.
