Two snow days so far and I can say the girls have done pretty well. They've loved being out in the white stuff and they have enjoyed playing with their American Girl dolls since Sarah got hers in the mail. Of all days to receive it, on the worst snow day we've had this winter :). She's happy and taking really good care of Abby Victoria. She says she just made up the name but I think it has to do with her teacher, her cousin and a friend from church. The girls were out playing when the door bell rang with the delivery. I didn't bother them at the time because they were having a blast so I put Abby at the top of the stairs, still in her box for her to see first thing when she came in. This was her reaction.
Shortly after that came a squeal of delight and announcement to her sister that she was here. So fun.
And speaking of AG dolls, Grace had hers, Grace Marie (2) right beside her as she practiced playing her violin. They are practicing for the upcoming talent show at school. Grace is excited to be playing her violin again this year. Did you notice they are somewhat dressed alike? All part of the plan of my nine year old.
